2012... so far...

It's only been 2012 for 11 days and it hasn't started off so great. On Tuesday, January 3rd, Kenneth and I came home to find our three year old puppy Emma dead under our Christmas tree. I'm still processing things and don't really want to get into the details, not now anyway.

The good news is that this is the year that Kenneth and I move to New York City. Last night at the Revolutions International Theatre Festival kick-off party, my friend, teacher and mentor, Joanne Camp gave me her card and asked me to make sure I get together with her before I move so she can help me out with acting lessons and connect me with some of her friends out there. She is kind of incredible- her and her husband started a theatre company a while back and she has really had an impressive career. It is so great to have a vital connection like that. Also, I ran into Paul Ford who asked me if I was coming to audition for him this summer. It feels good to be recognized by people who I look up to. Especially since I've been out of the game for quite some time

So here is my official start to my leaving for New York countdown-
today is January 11
move date is August 31st

233 days until we move to NEW YORK CITY
